The 6th annual Thread City Hop Fest is a craft beer tasting, good food eating event on Jillson Square in Willimantic, CT. (645 Main Street) taking place on Sunday, April 28, 2019, that you don’t want to miss! The Hop Fest is organized by the Willimantic Brewing Company, on behalf of Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. (the folks that bring us the popular 3rd Thursday Street Fest).
Let’s start with the beer! Attendees of the Thread City Hop Fest will enjoy samples from over 45 regional breweries. A craft beer tasting of this size is unique in the Quiet Corner and it’s happening in downtown Willimantic! Kick off the brew fest season right here in Willi! Tickets are $35 in advance or $50 at the gate (if any remain) and include a commemorative tasting glass and access to the visiting brewers. (Proper ID will be required.) Plenty of great food will be available (bring cash) and Vulturetown Arts provides our entertainment line up.
The Thread City Hop Fest is a fundraiser for: The No Freeze Project, Vulturetown Arts, Willimantic Renaissance, Inc, Horizons, Inc., Covenant Soup Kitchen, The Mill Museum, and the Windham Area Interfaith Ministry.
